Born and raised in the Netherlands.
As a child, you could set me down somewhere with a pencil and a sheet of paper and find me hours later in the exact same spot. Both of my parents went to art school, so creativity was a given in our home. But drawing? That was really my thing. And honestly, that has never changed.
Nowadays, I draw on my iPad. Often in my attic room, where I’ve created my own cozy space. Sometimes at my desk, sometimes with a blanket on the couch. Afro house on, pen in my hand, and before I know it, hours have passed again. It still feels a bit like sketching on paper, only digitally I can endlessly shift things around, experiment, and discover new combinations.
Art with character and individuality
Realistic, but just a little different
Nature often appears in my work, but rarely as you encounter it in real life. A crocodile covered in floral print, a leopard with a link chain, or a flower that suddenly looks back at you. I love bringing recognizable things together into something you wouldn't immediately expect.
My style is detailed, tattoo-like line art, with a combination of loose sketch lines and bold marker strokes. I play with contrast, overlaps, and the space between the drawings. Sometimes I shift things around until everything falls into place. And sometimes a crazy combination creates something that makes me think: yes, this needs to stay.
This gives every work its own character. Edgy, elegant, playful, or a bit quirky. It’s okay for there to be something that makes you stop and take a look.

Many interiors look perfect today. Sleek, clean, balanced. But sometimes it feels as though they could belong to anyone. Where has the personal story gone?
Sirious Art was born from that thought. I create line art for people who want their interior to be more than just beautiful. For those who consciously choose something because it speaks to them, evokes a memory, or simply fits them perfectly. Even if someone else might think it’s a strange choice. It’s your home, right?
I hope my work makes you curious. That you walk by and suddenly notice a detail you hadn't spotted before. That you smile for a moment, keep looking, or strike up a conversation about it. And above all, that you feel: this is for me.
