Terms of service
Last updated: October 16, 2026
Welcome to Sirious Art. These Terms of Service describe your rights and responsibilities when you visit, use, or purchase from our store and related services. By using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Sirious Art. These terms and conditions apply to orders placed through siriousart.com and to agreements entered into through our webshop.
1. About Sirious Art
Sirious Art is a business based in the Netherlands.
Sirious Art
Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number: 94316295
VAT identification number: NL005076967B93
Email: info@siriousart.com
Phone: +31 (0)6 38719775
Sirious Art participates in the Dutch small businesses VAT exemption scheme (KOR). No VAT is charged on orders covered by this exemption. This exemption does not itself remove any taxes or import charges that may apply in the destination country.
2. Products & Artworks
Sirious Art sells original line-art designs in a variety of product types, sizes and materials. Most products are made to order by carefully selected production partners.
We make every effort to display colours, materials, sizes and other product characteristics as accurately as possible. Actual colours may vary slightly due to factors such as screen settings, materials and the printing process.
Minor variations inherent in the materials or production process are not automatically considered defects, provided the product conforms to the agreement and meets what you may reasonably expect.
3. Orders, Prices & Payment
An agreement is formed when you place an order and Sirious Art confirms its acceptance.
Before completing your order, please carefully check your chosen artwork, size, material, product type, floating frame and any other options.
All prices are displayed in euros. No VAT is charged on orders covered by Sirious Art’s participation in the Dutch small businesses VAT exemption scheme (KOR).
Any taxes that Sirious Art is legally required to collect at the time of purchase, together with applicable shipping charges, will be included in the total shown before you complete your order.
Any potential additional import charges payable by the recipient will be communicated before purchase, as explained in section 4.
Payment can be made using the payment methods offered at checkout.
In the event of an obvious technical or pricing error that you could reasonably have recognised as an error, Sirious Art is not obliged to supply the product at the incorrectly displayed price, to the extent permitted by law. We will contact you if this occurs. If the order does not proceed, any payment already received for that order will be refunded.
4. Production, Delivery & Customs
Production & Delivery Times
Most artworks are made to order and are therefore not normally supplied from stock.
The estimated total delivery time is generally 5–10 working days, including production and shipping, unless a different delivery estimate is provided before purchase.
Delivery times may vary by product and destination, particularly for deliveries outside Europe. Production issues, transport disruptions, public holidays and customs procedures may extend delivery times.
These estimates do not remove our obligation to deliver within any agreed period or affect your statutory rights if an order is delayed. Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, orders will be delivered within the statutory delivery period of 30 days.
Once your order has been dispatched and tracking information is available, you will receive a shipping confirmation.
Shipping Costs & Responsibility
Shipping charges are displayed before you complete your order. The applicable rates and available destinations are set out in our Shipping Policy and at checkout.
If we split your order into several shipments, we will not charge additional shipping fees solely because of that split.
Sirious Art bears the risk of loss or damage during transport until you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, take physical possession of the order, as required by applicable law.
International Orders & Import Charges
The customs treatment of your order depends on where the goods are dispatched from, their destination and the applicable customs and tax rules.
Goods dispatched from within the EU and already in free circulation can generally be delivered to destinations within the EU customs and VAT territory without additional import charges. Special rules may apply to certain territories.
Orders shipped from the EU to destinations outside the EU may be subject to customs duties, import taxes and customs clearance fees. Import charges may also arise if goods are dispatched from outside the EU to an EU destination.
Unless included at checkout or expressly agreed otherwise, import charges legally payable by the recipient are the customer’s responsibility. Where such charges may arise, this will be clearly communicated before purchase. If the amount cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, we will explain that additional charges may be payable.
These charges are separate from shipping costs. Free or reduced shipping does not include import charges unless expressly stated.
Nothing in this section transfers to the customer any tax obligation that Sirious Art is legally required to fulfil.
Further information can be found in our Shipping Policy.
5. Cooling-Off Period & Returns
The statutory right of withdrawal for consumers applies to standard artworks from our collections.
You have a 14-day cooling-off period, starting on the day after you receive your order, during which you may notify us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase without giving a reason.
If products from a single order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period starts on the day after you receive the last product.
After notifying us of your withdrawal, you have a further 14 days to send the product back.
The fact that a standard artwork is produced after you place your order, or that you select from standard options such as size, material or floating frame, does not remove your statutory right of withdrawal.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the product, provided this has been properly communicated before purchase. Return costs may be significantly higher for large or fragile artworks and for international returns.
For products that cannot normally be returned by post, the required information about return costs will be provided before purchase.
Please handle the artwork with care and, where reasonably possible, return it in its original packaging. The absence of the original packaging does not, by itself, remove your right of withdrawal.
Further information about notifying us, returning your product and receiving a refund can be found in our Returns & Refund Policy.
6. Custom & Personalised Artworks
Products made to your personal specifications or clearly personalised for you may be excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal where the applicable legal exception applies.
This includes, for example, a Custom Artwork created especially for you using personal photographs, people, animals, stories, memories or other individual elements.
Where personalisation means that the right of withdrawal does not apply, this will be clearly stated before you place your order.
This exception does not affect your statutory rights if a personalised product is damaged, defective or not what you ordered.
7. Refunds
If you validly exercise your right of withdrawal for a standard order, we will refund the amounts to which you are legally entitled within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.
If you withdraw from the entire order, this includes any standard delivery charges paid for the original order, to the extent required by law. If you selected a more expensive delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional cost above our least expensive standard delivery option.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the product or you have provided evidence that you have sent it back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless you expressly agree otherwise and without any refund fee.
If you handle the product beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, you may be responsible for any resulting reduction in value, where permitted by law.
Any taxes collected by Sirious Art will be refunded where required by applicable law.
Customs duties, import taxes or clearance fees paid directly to a customs authority or carrier are not refunded by Sirious Art. Depending on local rules, you may be able to request a refund from the relevant authority or carrier. This does not limit any statutory claim you may have against Sirious Art.
8. Damage, Errors & Statutory Guarantee
You are entitled to expect your order to conform to the agreement and meet what you may reasonably expect of the product.
Has your artwork arrived damaged, have you received the wrong product, or do you suspect a production defect? Please contact info@siriousart.com, preferably within 48 hours of receipt.
Where possible, include your order number and clear photographs of the product, its packaging and any damage. This helps us assess the issue promptly and arrange an appropriate solution.
Depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights, this may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or termination of the purchase agreement with a refund.
Where required by law, Sirious Art will cover the necessary costs of resolving the issue, including return shipping.
Our request to report damage promptly does not limit your statutory rights. Reporting an issue after 48 hours does not automatically remove your entitlement to a remedy.
9. Intellectual Property
All original designs, illustrations, line drawings, photographs, texts, logos and other creative works by Sirious Art are protected by applicable intellectual property rights.
Purchasing an artwork does not transfer any copyright or other intellectual property rights.
Without prior permission, Sirious Art’s designs and other protected works may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed or used commercially, except where permitted by law.
10. Reviews & Shared Photos
We love seeing how you display your Sirious Art in your home.
Tagging or mentioning Sirious Art, or using a hashtag, does not automatically grant us unrestricted rights to use your photographs or other content.
If we wish to use your content for promotional or commercial purposes, we will obtain permission where required, unless another valid legal basis applies.
Reviews may be moderated if, for example, they contain spam, unlawful material or inappropriate content. Genuine reviews will not be edited to make them appear more positive.
11. Complaints
Has something gone wrong? Please email info@siriousart.com with a clear description of your complaint and, where relevant, your order number and photographs.
We aim to provide a substantive response within 14 days. If we need more time to investigate, we will let you know.
Any request to report a complaint promptly does not limit your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Privacy
Sirious Art processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Further information about the data we process, why we process it and your rights can be found in our Privacy Policy.
13. Liability
Sirious Art is liable to the extent required by law or under the agreement.
Sirious Art is not liable for damage resulting from incorrect or improper use of a product where that damage cannot be attributed to Sirious Art.
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits statutory consumer rights or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
Agreements with Sirious Art are governed by Dutch law.
If you are a consumer residing in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law that would otherwise apply to your purchase.
Disputes will be submitted to the court with jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these terms restricts any mandatory right you may have as a consumer to bring proceedings before a court in your country of residence.
15. Changes & Contact
Sirious Art may update these terms and conditions from time to time. The version in effect when your agreement was entered into applies to your order, unless a change is required by law or otherwise validly agreed with you.
Do you have a question about these terms and conditions or your order? Please feel free to contact info@siriousart.com.
